Fun Weekend with Show us your life

I am so excited for this weekend. I am not going to get anything done around the house but that will get done eventually.
Friday- work and homework
Saturday- Work til 2 then a gf's bachelorette party later in the day/night.
Sunday- work
I also have to fit in a test someone where too.

1. What is the first nightmare you remember?

Gosh I try not to remember nightmares.
2. Even if you're not a sports fan, what's your favorite sport to play/watch?
My favorite sport to watch is college football. Go Ohio State

3. If you could pull off one piece of trendy fashion, what would you want it to be (jeggings, hats, thigh high boots, etc.)?

Thigh high boots. I would love to try them, and not kill myself or the bank.

4. Did you make good grades in school?

I made ok grades. I never failed anything but I wasn't a straight A student.

5. What magazines do you subscribe to?

I pay for All You magazine. Then I get Parents and American Baby for free.

My living room is in the basement. There is a room upstairs, right in the front door that could be used as a living room, but we decided to use it as the dining room since there is no dining room and not enough space in the kitchen for an eat in kitchen.
If you come in the side door and walk down the stairs, the door to the right leads to the living room.

From standing in the doorway to the right. You see my collection of dvds on the bookshelf, and all our ps2 and ps3 games and the few wii games we have under the tv. You would think we play games a lot. My husband plays once a week, and I may play once a week. The couch is a sleeper sofa.

This is from the doorway looking straight ahead. This is where we spend most of our time. Sitting infront of the tv and playing on my laptop. Both chairs are recliners.

This is to the left. Out couch is suppose to be a wrap around but the house is not big enough for it. So we have the wedge facing the fireplace. I sit there quite often in the winter. You also see our collection of cd's. I can't get rid of them even though we barely ever use them. Also on the bookshelf is some of my frogs. The other dvd's stands have all disney/kid movies and series of tv shows.

Also to the left of the door. On top of the fireplace is photos of us. We have prom, wedding, vacation ... Hopefully one day their will be pictures of our future kids.

This is from standing behind the recliner couch looking at the door. I like having a door where I can close off the area, keep the heat in, not have to hear to washer or dryer.

Well thats my living room.

Plans and Question

It has been a short fast week. I am ready for the weekend.

Tonight- I have to work. I can't complain that I have a job. I had off yesterday so it isn't to bad.
Saturday- I work til 2, then have to run to my parents to feed the cats. Oh the fun of house sitting. Then off to the race track. We are finally getting the car back out there after blowing the motor a few weeks ago. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I am keeping my fingers cross that everything goes well.
Sunday- I have no idea whats going on yet. I don't know if I have to work or not, if my wonderful husband has anything planned. So it is a play it by ear for now. Oh I have to get some homework done sometime this weekend too.

1. Do you feel guilty spending money on yourself?
Yes. Especially right now when we are having some money issues. I have to stop buy things for myself that I don't need.


2. How well do you know your neighbors?
Not very well. We have talked to the one neighbors once when there was an accident at my house and they asked if everyone was ok a few days later, they also let me know that they cut my grass for me since they know there was a lot going on. The neighbors on the other side we say hi to all the time. My husband has talked to them more often than I do.

3. What age are you looking forward to being?
Ummm, I am not looking forward to any age. I had a quarter life crisis when I turned 25, in my eyes nothing looks up after this.
4. Do you get excited when the mail comes? Why?
I use to get so excited and what to be the one to get the mail. Now that all that comes in the mail is bills I am less than thrilled when it comes. I do get excited when I get a magazine in the mail, which is twice a month.

5. What is your earliest childhood memory?
The earlist thing I remember is when I was 2 and at Disney World. The rat from Robin Hood wanted a picture with me and I wanted nothing to do with him. There is a picture of this hanging in the hallway at my parents house, so do I really remember this or just the picture?

Labor Day Weekend

This weekend really declares the end of summer. Today's high was only in the 70's, tomorrow is suppose to only be in the 60's. Time to drag back out the jeans and sweatshirts. Its gonna be a cold night. I have enjoyed turning the air off and opening the windows though. I am ready for fall.
This weekend is gonna be a fun one. Saturday after work we are going to go watch the races, out motor is still being fixed. After the race we are going to a friends bon-fire. Sunday I have to work so my hubby gets to sleep in and relax all day, so jealous. Monday we are going to Cedar Point again. I got free tickets, you can't pass that up.

1. What do you do when you have time to yourself?

My "Me" time I watch tv or play online. Since it is getting into fall and that horrible dreaded winter I enjoy taking baths and reading a book. In the summer I like it sit out on the front porch and watch the cars go by. I don't normally treat myself to mani or pedis, but oh would love to.
2. When you look out your kitchen window, what do you see?
My backyard, our vehicles, the garage, a field .... nothing to interesting. At times I do see deer, birds, squirels, and groundhogs.
3. Who/What would you want to be reincarnated as?
A domestic house cat. I would love to be lazy all day.

4. What is your biggest pet peeve about other people's kids?
Manners. I hate when kids don't say please and thank you, ask before taking something, don't clean up after themselfs. At work we have a bowl of suckers.  Some parents let their kids eat as many as they want while they wait. What happened to all you get is one and ask first.
5. Regular or Diet soda?
I don't normally drink soda/pop. Normally when I do it is because I am sharing with my husband. He will not drink diet, so it is regular with him. When I do get my own soda/pop I get diet. I usually choose tea, lemonade, fruit punch, water, etc over any soda/pop though.
 

It's Friday

This week has flown by. It's time for the weekend. I have to work all weekend though and have nothing else planned. Maybe do some yard work that has really been laking this year.

I have two fluffy kitties. Furball and Peaches. I also have some fish.
Here are my kitties when we got them when they still were nice to each other.

Hilary Duff, I have an obsession with her right now. She young, gorgeous, career driven, and talented.


3. What is your favorite money saving tip?
My big money saving tip is if I don't have cash on me, I am more likely not to by something.
4. What do you want your kids to be when they grow up?
When I have kids I want them to be whatever their heart desires.

5. What is your favorite quote?
I dont really have a favorite quote right now.

It's Friday. I am so excited. It has really been a long week. I have off today. yipeee. I don't really have any plans, maybe clean the house some. I can't go anywhere because of stupid construction. I can't wait for our road to be done.

Adge is my nickname. Old friends call me it at times. Usually I just go by Adrienne. I have no idea where Adge came from.
2. What is your birth order amongst your siblings?
I have one older sister, Sarah. She is 3 years older.
3. In a movie of your life, who would play your significant other?
Thats a hard one. He would have to be tall, and dreamy.

4. What is currently your favorite song?
I love the new Eminem song featuring Rihanna "Love The Way You Lie"
5. Are you saving your money for anything right now? Big or small purchase?
We should be saving money for a rainy day, but haven't.

Never any fun and fun friday

Today I am taking my sister and her co-worker to the calling hours of one our local police officers. He was killed early this week. He also worked at the grocery store with my sister and her friend as secruity at nights. It is such a sad story, he is leaving behind his wife and 3 beautiful daughters. Not the kind of fun anyone looks forward to. I have never been to a police officer funeral but know it is going to be crazy busy so we are going early since I still have to work today. So sad.

1. Today I am wearing sa blue button up shirt, jeans and heels.

6. A weird little quirk I have is I always have to drive. I hate other drivers. The only person I will drive with usually is my husband. Anyone else I volunteer.

Nope, I live in a small town nothing good ever happens here. Well unless you count I saw the top of the presidents head.

In the Winter Master bedroom at 68, Main floor set at 65, but is 69 in there, and basement is set at 65 when I am cold i will turn the gas fireplace up to 70.

only have had one job

5. What is your most sentimental possession?
hmm i have no idea, maybe my wedding photos. my ring,

It's Friday again. This week has gone at lot better than last weekend. Hopefully this weekend goes by as smoothly as this past week.

Way to much. Atleast a few hours.

2. Will you pay for your children's college or raise them to pay for their own way?
My parents payed for my college so I would love to pay for my childrens college. I think it shows they responisblity if they pay for some of it themselves.
3. Have you ever been in a car accident?
Yes, only 1. That was enough to scare the crap out of me. I had a little red cougar. I was at fault in a way. Long story. My husband, then bf had to be torn out of the car with the jaws of life. It was a side impact and the other driver pushed in my passenger door over a foot and a half. The whole car was twist.
4. What is your favorite book?
I don't think I really have one. I need to read more often.
5. Do you make your bed everyday?
Yes. well that is a lie. I do everyday as long as Dave is out of bed when I go to do it.

It's Friday

I can't believe it is already Friday. This week has flown by for whatever reason. I have to work tonight and tomorrow. Then I have off on Sunday. Not to much to look forward to, not to much going on this weekend on my end, besides grocery shopping. I would imagine that the guys will be in the garage working on the car, not surprising at all. I would rather have them in my garage where I know where they're at and can call them if I need them. But don't expect me to make dinner for everyone, we can't afford it and I don't want to.

This week is - What is your typical day like.
 
I don't have a normal typical day. Since my work schedule is all over the place every day is different.  I am married and work part time, but wanting full time hours. My husband also works two different shifts also. Here is my schedule for today.
- Alarm goes off at 7:30. I roll over turn off my alarm, grab the thermometer put it in my mouth. Fall half way back asleep. When the thermometer beeps i turn it off and put it back on the night stand and fall back asleep.
- Woke up at 8:30. Put contact rewetting drops in my eyes. Turn back on my thermometer to read the temperature. Right it down in my notebook next to the bed.
- Make the bed, organize the bedroom, take dirty dishes downstairs.
- Go pee (I know tmi), uncover the bunny, feed her and give her fresh water.
- Get the newspaper. Sit down at the table and flip through it.
- Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
- Go to the basement and do weekly cleaning (did most of it last night since I was expecting company)
- Eat breakfast. Watch tv, play on internet.
- Eat lunch.
- 1:30 get ready for work.
- 2:30 leave for work. Start work at 3. Work til 9.
- Come home and possibly make dinner.
- Watch tv, in bed by midnight.
 
Yah I live somewhat of a boring life. I know it won't always be that way so I am enjoying it while I can.

1. Do you sing karaoke? If so, what is your go to song?

When I was a teenager I was persueing a music career. I use to sing all the time, write my own songs, etc. I sometimes sang karaoke at family get togethers and while camping. I don't really have a go to song.
2. What is your favorite coffee drink?
In the winter I like an Chia Latte, in the summer, iced vanilla coffee
3. If you could choose your own name, what would it be?
I always wanted to be named Michelle. As I have gotten older I have learned to appreciate my name.
4. Were you ever bullied?
Yes

5. How often do you eat fast food?
To often. I try to limit it to once a week. It use to be every day.

1. Have you ever hit an animal with your vehicle?

I hit a frog once in the driveway. It was dark and rainy and I didn't see it. I about cried.

Usually pull

Both. if I shared a room it was by choice and the other room was just a play room.
4. Would you rather wear the same thing for the rest of your life or eat the same thing for the rest of your life?
wear the same thing, but can I wash it please
5. What was your favorite TV show as a child?
Full House, I begged my parents to change my name is Michelle. It didn't work.

Day 4- Favorite Wedding Memory

Gosh. There are so many memories I have from my wedding. It was a long day with so much going on, way to much to pack into one day, and lots of problems. But we are here to discuss my favorite wedding memory.
If I had to to choose one. In the movie 27 Dresses, Jane played by Katherine Heigl, says that she likes to look at the groom as he first see the bride. That is one of my favorite memories is seeing David looking back at me with tears in his eyes. The photographer caught the moment well. Dave isn't one for smiling much. I also love this photo of me looking up at David and my father looking at me.

Day 5- Romantic Screw-up
 I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Day 6- Five Question Friday
1. What is the one thing your love does for you that you can't live without?

hmm. I could name a few. I will keep it clean with his height. Incase you didn't know since he is a foot and a half taller than me. I married him for his height.

2. When did you know your love was "the one"?
After about 6 months of dating he moved away for college and came back a few months later. I knew then and so many other times

3. Does your love have a special ringtone on your cell?
No. I dont have anyones personalized

4. What are you attracted to most in your special someone?
His green and yellow eyes, perfect lips, perfect nose, his sense of humor...
5. Did you know when/where he/she was going to pop the big question?
I knew he was going to do it but didn't know when or how he was going to do it.

1. What are you most afraid of?
I hate spiders. I will scream and back away and not go in the room until someone kills it. But I love being outdoors and camping. I know. I am afriad of dying also.
2. Do you use a flat iron or curling iron?
I use a flat iron every day on my bangs. I probably do my whole head once a month if not more. A curling iron probably once every couple of months.

3. Hands-free or phone to the ear?
phone to my ear
4. Do you have a matching bedroom set?
no we dont even have a headboard... Our drawers are in the wall and came with the house.
5. Do you believe in the paranormal?
yes and no

It would depend to where and what I had planned on doing. It is a little scary in today's work to wonder around a new place by yourself.

No. I will admit it. Usually I am between 3 to 5 over on most roads. On the high way sometimes up to 10 over. I know I am bad.
3. Why did you start blogging/following blogs?
To keep record of what is going on in my life with TTC, buying a home, being married, starting a family, etc. I started my food blog to keep track of the recipes I try.
4. Where do you shop for yourself?
I don't shop for myself to often, but normally it is Walmart, Target, and Kohl's.
5. What was the song that you danced your first dance with your spouse to at your wedding...or...what song would you like your first dance to be to?

1. What is better, growing old with out money or dying young and wealthy?

I would rather grow old with out money. Money doesn't buy happiness 
2. Who takes out the garbage at your house?
I get the garbage out of the bed rooms, bathroom, office, laundry room and take it to the kitchen. Then my husband empty's the kitchen garbage and takes it all to the curb.
3. Have you ever had the same dream many times?
Nope
4. Can you play a musical instrument?
I use to play the trumpet, drums, percussion and keys while in school. I can't play any of them anymore. I taught myself the keyboard and can still play that, but only with my right hand.
5. If you owned your own store, what would you sell?
Probably childrens clothes store. they just have the cutest stuff

hmm, I had my moments. The worst that rings a bell right now is when my parents caught me smoking. (I no longer smoke just did it socially while in school)

Both. If I have to be I can be either. Normally I am a night person.
3. Are you a one-handed or a two-handed Texter?
I have a blackberry so I am a two handed texter.
4. Democrat, Republican, or Independent..or maybe even Green Party (whatever that is).

5. Are you a pet person?
Yes. I currently have a white fluffy bunny names Marshmellow. Eventually we will be getting 2 cats and a dog.

1. Which boygroup did you like most in your teens?

My obsessioned changed all the time. It started with 98 degrees went to the Backstreet Boys, to Nsync, and back to 98 degrees.
2. Do you do Christmas cards, letters, photos, nuthin', all of the above?
Usually we just do xmas cards. Next year I plan on doing xmas photos
3. If you could meet one celebrity who would it be and why?
I would want to meet Mandy Moore.  I am a huge fan,
4. Favorite thing to cook with (i.e. stainless, non-stick, Dutch oven, microwave, debit card...or, perhaps, a cauldron, etc.)?
I have/use/love Rachael Ray stainless steel cookware. I also have some pampered chef baking stones. (i am a consultant)

5. What is the one thing you wear the most, besides your unmentionables?
work clothes, i swear i like at work at times. besides that my husbands shirts. When we moved in with my parents I only brought 2 pj shirts so I am always wearing his shirts.

1. Does Santa wrap the presents he leaves at your house?

Santa wraps his presents at my house. Growing up he even used the same wrapping paper, wasn't seperated, and had the same hand writing as mom. Wonder how that could be. Mental note, santa is suppose to use different wrapping paper, not have his presents in the same spot as mom's and dad's presents and diffreent handwriting.
2. When is your "big" Christmas celebration...Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? Tell us about it...
Everything is on Christmas day. We wake up at my parents house and open presents with my parents and sister. Then we go over to my in-laws and open presents with them (hopefully we don't have to do that this year since we aren't exchanging presents with them, just one less thing ot make the day khaotic). That is followed by either going to my extended family or his extended family then switching. It makes for one very long day.
Hopefully this will all change next year once we have a place of our own and we don't have to spend the night at our parents house. This will make things a lot less khaotic and I can put my little foot down of what we are going to do.
3. Are you big on keeping tradition every year?
I like to keep to traditions. My husband and I started a tradition last year of eatting lasgana for dinner then cuddling and watching a christmas movie. Some other traditions are going to look at christmas lights somewhere, and getting a real christmas tree.
4. Do colored lights or white lights tickle your fancy?
I am old school and love colored lights. It is a must to have colored lights on the tree. Right now I have a fancy for white icicle lights outside.
5. Do you decorate outside your house for Christmas?
Yes would be the short easy answer. I love houses decorated. My parents house (where we live right now) has colored icicle lights so far. More will be coming.

1. What is your dream job?
I swear this changes every week. One week I want to own/run my own hotel someplace nice and warm next week I want to work for Disney. Another week I think I may want to be a nurse, another week a stay at home mom. I'm young I can keep changing my mind right.
2. What song could you play over and over?
I am a huge Mandy Moore fan. I have evolved with her every time her music genre changes so does mine, well atleast I love all her music. I could listen to her songs over and over again with no problem. It always puts me in a good mood.

3. Do you prefer to talk on the phone or text (or email)?
It depends what I need to talk about. I prefer to talk on the phone, but I am addicting to texting lately. I do not text and drive though.

4. What is your must have beauty product?
I am a hairdress how can I just choose one. For my hair, right now my addicition is Sexy Hair- Blow It Up Foam it does great with holding my curls. I never leave the house without eyemake-up on. I have to atleast have some eyeshadow and mascara. It only takes me like 2 minutes to get ready since the only make-up I wear is eye make-up.
5. What is your favorite Michael Jackson song?
I must admit I am not a huge Michael Jackson fan. I do like his music but I am not crazy for him. A song I like from him off the top of my head is Smooth Criminal

Five Question Friday

1. Whats your favorite horror movie?

I am not a big fan of horror movies. I can name of my lease favorite which would be the grudge. the sound that boys makes just makes my skin crawl. If I had to pick a favorite I would say "I Know What You Did Last Summer"

2. Bath tub or Hot tub?
Hot tub all way. It stays warm/hot longer. Also my hubby and I can both fit in it. Bath tubs were not made for guys 6'6''

3. Do you prefer to view a movie at the theater or at home?
A home. To expensive at the theater and at home I can press pause when I have to go pee.


4. If you could chose a maid, cook or chauffeur, which one would you choose?
A chauffeur. I hate to drive places and don't like traffic.I can have a bit of road rage. I would have to be in the back seat though cause I hate driving with people also. I am a horrible side seat driver.

5. Electric Slide, Boot Scootin' Boogie, or the Macarena?
I am not good at the electic slide, depending on where you live depends on the steps to the boot scootin' boogie so I would say the macarena.
