Catching Up

I finally have a day off. All I wanted to do was sleep in and relax and do nothing. That didn't happen and isn't going to happen for the rest of the day. I have so much stuff to do. The day started off with my waking up and doing the laundry and emptying the dishwasher. Then downstairs to figure out bills before heading out the door to pay bills.
How come you are more crazy busy of days off than on the days you have to work. It is a much needed day off too. The past 5 days at work was the Great Haircut Sale. We were swamped. customers standing outside the door before we opened all the way up until the time we closed. It was one crazy week when we have these. It is nice though we stay busy, make money, hopefully gain some new customers. But we are also tired, exhausted, bitchy, sore, .... when it is all done and over with.
I also have been catching up on some cleaning around the house that I had been putting off. With the snow melting and my driveway being a mud pit I had to mop the floors. I can't stand muddly footprints all through the house.
I also finally put away my Valentines Day decoration. I decided to organze the box for ease next year. Valentine's Day now has it's own box, that is labeled. Also on top inside the box is a list of what is in the box with a brief description.

Time to go finish my to do list, check inventory of food, clean kitchen, make up menu, fill out some paperwork, file paperwork, .....
