Not Bragging Anymore

Confession time. This is hard reality check for me to admit, but I want to change. I use to be that girl that bragged about weighing less than 110 pounds. I wore kids jeans until I was like 14, I had a great body and always got the guys. That was then, both from high school dances, look you can see my collar bones

this is now.  ignore the bad hair, weird faces, pj's, bra showing, etc

Now I am 24 and not happy with my body. I have a muffin top, fat thighs, jiggly arms, I could go on. A lot has changed in those 10 years. I had my back broken and gained weight. I also got hideous stretch marks all over my stomack you would think I had a kid already. I also graduated high school got a job and started eatting out a lot more, fast food is my weakness, especially french fries.
Starting now, starting today I am going to make a change for the better. I am not happy with myself, I want to look better, feel better, fit into my clothes better, have more energry, etc. The plan is to start small and work my way bigger. I will have a weekly goals. A week is from Thursday to Wednesday. I will also be doing weekly weigh-ins and posting about what I feel I did good with, and what I could have improved with. Plus photos of my process and suggestions/tips from my experience.
This week's goal, which will be posted on the side of my blog once i revamp it, is to work out 60 minutes this week.  I also want to drink atleast 32 ounces of water a day.
Now to the truth my weight. I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 143.6. I was really shocked. It has actually gone done. When we moved into our house a little over two weeks ago it was 147. So since living here, not eatting as much garbage, and running up and down two flights of stairs I have lost about 4 pounds. I think that is a good start.
Now according to http://www.webmd.com/ my bmi is 27, which classifies me as being overweight. The ideal bmi is between 18.5 and 24.9. My weight it height ratio is .52, which classifies me as having increased risk. You want your weight to height ratio is to below .50. For my height my healthy weight range is between 98 and 132 lbs. My goal is to get down to 130, then we will see from there.
This morning I started Jullians 30 day shred. I only lasted 7 minutes, but it is a start. Only 53 more minutes left for this week.

you are brave for posting pics and numbers! Good for you! I've had 2 babies, and right now my weight is higher than it was when I was 9 months pregnant with either one. I disgust myself! I had started exercising on my treadmill last week but I had surgery this week so I'm delayed. I plan to start again next week, wish me luck! I'll be sending good thoughts your way!
