This week over at Kelly's Korner is dining room on Show Us Where You Live Friday. My dining room is still a work in progress.
We have been using a table my uncles gave us when I moved out of my parents house. The chairs are our outside patio furnature. I enjoy dinners at the table so we needed something. I grew up eating dinner at the table every day and want to keep the tradition going when I have a family of my own.
I also want to have Christmas Eve dinner at my house this year. So we need a larger dining room table. Last night Dave and I went furniture shopping.

awesome! My hubs and I bought our current house almost a year ago and the first piece of furniture I bought was a big ole dining room table! I love it, it's one of my favorite pieces in the whole house!
